English: Even though it rarely happens that I stay over at my mom’s it’s like her dog Kalle still knows that when I wake up it’s time to go for a walk. So yesterday mornings I hadn’t much more than open my eyes and registered that 1) it was light out and 2) my phone had died before Kalle came running. He knew that was in store; A morning walk in the forest.

Just the wind playing with the leaves and Kalle’s ball. I love going for walks, it’s such a lovely way to sort out in your thoughts after an eventful week. I just walked and enjoyed the surprisingly mild weather, while Kalle chased his beloved ball. Kalle is the type of dog that is pretty much indifferent to all dogs around him, except a cute she-dog in heat, he just wants his ball. So there we were walking along the snow-covered paths in the best kind of union there is, I threw the ball and Kalle eagerly came back with it.

When we were almost home again, we meet two golden retrievers and their owners. Suddenly the woman, who clearly knows Kalle and my mom, says, “I thought you were too young to be Kalle’s mom. “Oh yeah,” I say and hear myself continue, “I’m Kalle’s sister.”
