Summer Knit

Sweater Mango // T-shirt & Other Stories // Jeans Cheap Monday // Sandals Billi Bi // Bag French Connection (old) // Bracelet H&M

Ham ville jeg ellers gerne lige have set!

English: These photos are taken between the pillars at Brandenburger Tor, while a bunch of men under police supervision built a giant scaffold with thousands of seats. At the time we thought that it was for a concert, but a few days after we came home we could understand that it of course was for Obamas’ speech. I would have liked to see him too!

The sweater, that actually isn’t a sweater but more like a light summer knit, is so nice and soft and totally perfect for overcast days, where you not quite need a jacket, but still something to keep you warm. I have already to used quite a lot and I think it’s going to be a good friend through out the summer. Especially with the summer we’re having here in Denmark so far.

Restaurant-tip // Kung Fu II

June 29, 2013 at 15:57

English: Same night as I saw this amazing sunset, I was out for dinner at Kung Fu II in Ravnsborggade with my friend Anso. It was the first visit for both of us. We both chose the Kung Fu Ramen soup, I got it with grilled salmon and Anso got it with grilled beef. Both the salmon and the beef were really delicious and well-cooked, but we both agreed that there easily could have been more vegetables in the soup, and the soup could also have been a little bit more spicy. The table next to us got a grill menu with lots of little dishes, that I definitely want to try the next time. It look really delicious. They also have quite the cocktail menu, which also needs to be tested.

The restaurant is inspired by a traditional Japanese ‘Izakaya’, which can be compared to an inn, where the Japanese come in after a busy day at work to wind down and get something to eat and drink. The style is minimalistic and well thought out, and the same goes for their menu with dishes from the Japanese kitchen and with inspiration from the rest of Asia.

#Babylove

June 28, 2013 at 19:03

Men heldigt for hendes søde forældre.

English: Yesterday I biked very far in some incredibly strong winds in order to visit this little french fry. I also shared a little photo on my Instagram and Facebook of the little wonder with the hashtag #babylove, but after further consideration it probably should have been #canyousaybroodyfor500? eller #imighttakethisonehomewithme, because oh my god, that little baby is so cute!

She is a little number and just like a hot-water bottle, who slept quietly on my legs and later on my shoulder. Is there anything more fantastic than a little baby lying on your shoulder making those little baby noises in her sleep? I seriously doubt it. I very eagerly tried to tell her parents that I’m convinced that I’ve special magic powers that can get babies to sleep, but they ruined my fantasy by explaining that she’s always that easy. Buh! But lucky for her sweet parents. I’ll probably have to despite wind and weather to get me some more babylove again soon. That stuff is addictive!
