Instaweek

1. Snacks til køreturen til Sverige, 2. Dejlig gåtur i et svensk naturreservat, 3. Svenske fastelavnsboller, 4. Valentine’s forberedelser, 5. Lækker morgenmad, 6. Lørdagens outfit, 7. Indisk mad, 8. Ben&Jerry’s dessert, 9.

English: Another round of little square photos from a lovely week evolving around relaxation and food:) As the photos reveal, I love to try new versions of a known product, e.g. Toblerone, which of course meant that the youngest and I had to do some shopping at the ferry to Sweden. ‘Crunchy Almond’ was definitely not bad, I didn’t try the one with ‘Fruit & Nut’, so I still have to try that one. We also got to try Dumle with gingerbread flavor, which was nice and christmasy, and a new Ramlösa flavor with apple, which was a little artificial in its taste, but still refreshing. There was also our experiement with Swedish ‘semlor’, that did win my heart, but my dad was happy and ate two :)

Saturday night my friend Julie and I had big problems choosing what kind of Ben&Jerry’s we should get for dessert, so after a long time in front of the freezer at 7/Eleven debating back and forth, we decided that we had to pick two kinds. Naturally two flavors that we hadn’t try before; Chunky Monkey and Blondie Brownie. It was so good, even though we were stuffed from our feast of different Indian dishes and Moscow Mules.

Yesterday the boy and I had a really nice dinner at Gorm’s in Nyhavn 14 with Copenhagen Dining Week; Great food and lots of great wine. We’ll definitely have to get tickets again next year.

For many obvious reasons this weeks includes a whole lot a working out. Tonight the boy was convinced me to take a spinning lesson with him, so cross your fingers that I don’t fall off the bike or pass out from exhaustion! ;)
